In San Diego and nationwide, the advanced manufacturing sector is a crucial economic driver, offering high-paying jobs that do not necessarily require higher education. However, it is also facing a critical challenge in matching talent supply with demand. The sector is not only extensive but also diverse, significantly impacting the local economy and providing a substantial number of jobs. According to the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, the manufacturing sector supports 121,027 jobs across 4,429 establishments. This industry plays a vital role in promoting fulfillment and contributes to a balanced and thriving lifestyle in the San Diego region.
We help bridge this gap by providing integrated quality skills training, transforming participants into a well-rounded talent pool with the potential for upward mobility. Our efforts to educate the next generation of skilled manufacturing workers and to meet the industry’s growing demand for skilled worker jobs that do not require a bachelor's degree.
